- As a national of an A8 country (countries listed above) you are entitle for the free movements with in the European Economic Area however if you are planning to work for a UK based employer over a period of one month you need to register for the Workers Registration Scheme.
- In order to access your full EU treaty rights you need to work legally for 12 months with out breach in your employment. This is called as “uninterrupted work”
- Once you complete your 12 months period you are eligible to exercise your full EEA treaty rights in the UK with out any restrictions.
- Please note that as a national of an A8 country you will normally have to register for the workers registration scheme once you started working for a UK based employer.
- Upon completion of your 12 months period you can apply for a Registration Certificate as a proof of completion of 12 months uninterrupted work however there is no legal obligation to compete this requirement.
